Sportsware giant Asics gave a new meaning to window displays when one of its flagship stores in New Zealand showed pornography on loop for nine hours.
The Auckland store’s systems were apparently ‘hacked’, leading to adult content being beamed to unsuspecting passers by on big display screens.
Asics has asserted that none of its staff were responsible for the mishap, and has stressed that security and procedures have since been tightened.
The company took to Facebook to issue an apology, with local paper the New Zealand Herald carrying reports of shocked punters.
